Well 48 hours to go. After putting in over 500 hours of overtime during this passed season I need a break, life disagrees... Life has tried freezing my truck to death (-49deg last night and tonight), but I plugged the block heater in and kept the battery charged. Life is showing rain on every single day of my vacation as of tonight, but the sexy pool is a POOL so who cares if there's water above AND below. Life tried to have my days off cancelled due to a "downed aircraft last minuted scheduled DRILL" but I talked my boss out of it. Life even watched me crash my snowmobile last night in a spectacular explosion of plastic pieces, engine parts, and my leg snapping fully sideways at the knee during one of the 4 or 5 cartwheels I did down the road, dislocated but not a broken bone! Tears to my MCL but I'm practicing walking right now and all I gotta do is make it to the sexy pool from my room. Against recommendations from the Dr. I'll get the MRI when I get home. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LIFE LET ME HAVE THIS VACATION! :umbrella1:
I've seen the weather reports as well, and it was the same last January - showed rain every day in the forecast, but only ended up raining one afternoon for a couple hours - we were in the sexy pool and it was no big deal, other than a few of us slipped on the slick cement. Unless it is a tropical storm or some other major weather event, the rain comes and goes there, it is not like up here in Seattle where it goes on and on for days and is gloomy, gloomy all the damn time!! LOL - I would even take WARM rain at this point instead of Seattle weather! We'll see you on Thursday, we arrive at around 4pm!
