In addition, we will offer free transportation to Desire Pearl from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. so that our guests can have their fantasy of enjoying both Desires all at once come true. In other words, "Since we are closing down the pool and beach area in front of the pool for upgrades and that means that about 50% of the awesomeness (yes, it's a word. is now, anyway) is not available, we'll knock our price tag down a bit"
I understand that "they will be providing free transfers to Pearl for the day, and the jacuzzi lounge will be open all day, instead of just from 4pm". a la GogoBlanco So it's not a bad deal when you consider normal rate is $450/$500 a night or so.
Just checked...if you are a Premier member the rate is $ 285 for a deluxe ocean and $255 for a garden view. Members are "supposed" to get 35% off the rack rates so if they are offering an additional 35% off the rates I listed for the renovations it is a steal of a deal.
Cheaper daily rate than an Ocean View Room at TTR for the same dates. Obviously the "inconvenience" for some is not worth the saving. For us Brits that come for a minimum 14 nights it's a no-brainer. Happy days! :daisy:
