Minus 30 windchill here in Minnesota right now. This time tomorrow, the wife and I'll be on a plane heading to Cancun. Just sayin' :huepfen021:
It seems like you two picked a perfect week. 6 below here, and I don't want to know what the windchill is, some things are just better not knowing.
Yup it is pretty freaking cold here in Ontario too and gonna remain that way all week then warming up a bit when we come back. We will be arriving Wednesday about 6 pm
-32 to -35 yesterday for us in Alberta, not so bad today at -24 or so. The thing I hate the most is the 40 deg swing in temperature.
Perfect timing! We are also from Mn and originally we were going to head down on Jan 19th. Due to passport issues, we put off until February. Wouldn't you know, we got everything in time and would have made it! Oh well! Here's hoping for a wild snowstorm on February 17th!! LOL Have fun!!
I grew up in Robbinsdale, MN so I know what you guys are talking about. We moved to SoCal when I was 12 and I lived there until 3 years ago when we moved to Seattle - heard it was in the 80s this last weekend in LA <sigh> has been at or below freezing in Seattle for 3 weeks, no rain/snow though - just really cold! Not MN cold, but when stuff is frozen, it's cold! I just cannot wait to thaw out in the warm sun - we will be landing in Cancun in just 73 LONG ASS hours!
