24 hour pool??????????????..........

Hi guys and gals

we have read that TTR is now featuring one of the pools being open round the clock 24hrs a day

3 things we would like to know really...........

*Is this true?

*if so which pool is it?

*has anyone experienced this and has it resulted in there being a good night time pool party atmosphere?

We were there a month ago. It is the sports pool and no one was in it. Maybe it will be different when the weather and water is warmer.

 

Uhhhhhhh....... hmmmmm..... just got back a day ago. A group of us went for a late night swim in the sexy pool because the sports pool was unheated and very ch ch chilly. We were unceremoniously booted. It could have been because we were naked and drunk. LMAO I know the staff was doing what they were directed to do. Don't blame them. But I do think it's hilarious that I spent the days before topless with only a very micro, see thru thong on during the day. Hee hee Naked wasn't much different.

Now I can brag I was kicked out of the sexy pool!!! Badges of Honor!!!

it seems a shame that this looks like something that wont really get off the ground due to something as simple as the pool not being heated

it is a good concept and something different that could be arranged with the group of people you are hanging out with instead of a paty-o night, come on TTR heat up the sports pool!

 

Yeah, when we were there in late January, no one used that pool - day or night! I think the scuba guy was demonstrating his gear there, that's about it. It is c-c-c-c-c-cold!! A 24 hour heated jacuzzi, now that would be used in the wee hours for sure!

 

I would bet that its their intention to not make night swimming very comfortable. It would be one way to keep late night swimming to a minimum therby keeping the chances of accidents to a minimum. Its easy to keep a few strays in line but much harder if the numbers were in the 10's or 100's.

 

Seems like the whole thing was just a publicity stunt by management.
Looks good on the travel brochures, but not in real life.

 

Hmmmmmm yes it does seem that way, "24hr partypool" sounds great on paper but the reality seems to be a lot difference (thank goodness for the people on these threads eh?!) if they wanted to do it properly they would have music by the pool, the pool would be heated etc.

Maybe it will be busier during the peak hot months

We are meeting up with a group so maybe we will just bring the ipod dock, plenty towels, and drinks with us and give it a go!

 

hahahaha Shannon we are trouble..tequila made us do some crazy things! Oh and I can do the Iron Woman Contest naked (and win 2x champ) but I cant swim naked in the pool.......I've been kicked out of better and worse places! Many badges and a chest to pin them on! lol
