Gasp! Two weeks until departure...now the final countdown starts. He'll im already packed, the wife is frazzled over what to wear for lingirie/casino night.....she can be modest at times...she's worried about looking whorish hahaha I just keep telling her she's a sexy who're at least hahaha.... Any last.minute things we should remember? How many different dresses/outfits should carrie need? I've told her 3-4 sexy/clubbing dresses should do the trick. I already know she'll over pack on the heels anyway. She was shocked the other day when 8 bikinis showed up in the /mail for her....hahahahahaha I told her she'd end up only wearing the bottoms. Between now and our departue we've got to find flip flops, get waxed, pre-tan, do some lunges, and finish packing. I've wrote this mainly as a reminder to myself....and yah if anyone has any tips or reminders of the "oh sh!t we should have brought or done...." kind, let us know....otherwise look for us by pool sometime after lunch on the 24th Matt n Carrie
Hey Matt & Carrie. I always seem to forget something when I go on holidays, so I've now made a master list of stuff that I keep on my computer and print out whenever it's time to pack. Here's some stuff which I always bring, some of which you might not think to pack: - insulated mug, ideally with handle and lid that has a straw-hole in it, but is not so deep that a regular-length straw is too short - beach bag to cart your stuff down to the pool every day - travel bottle with dishsoap to clean your mugs every day - the body wash in the rooms leaves a perfume residue -- blech. - travel bottle with delicate care fabric wash to wash the chlorine out of expensive swimsuits every day - bandaids - hotels in Mexico always have lousy ones that don't stick - sunglass cleaner - Cipro or other fast-acting prescription antibiotic pills - just in case you get sick. Cipro will get you back on your feet (& back into the party) pronto. - earplugs (in case your room is in a noisy area)
always a wise-ass in the crowd! Very funny! Yes, I throw a few pieces of clothing in the suitcase in the interests of maintaining public decency. Hard to squeeze them in with all those damn shoes, though. I maximize my suitcase space by leaving out underwear.
Something I never leave without now is a healthy supply of 5 hour energy drinks. They can really help with getting the second wind going. The guy at Walgreens thought I was nuts when I bought 20 of them.
And here we all thought you were cruising on a natural high...I'm so disallusioned, Jesse. :icon_frown:
No, I can vouch for the existence of sasquatches...I dated one once. Now I insist that my partners get waxed.
