My wife and I (31-32) are thinking of heading down January 15th from Ottawa Canada. We've read plenty on tripadvisor and wanted to see what peopl ehere have to say. We're not prudes by any means however we're not swingers either. We don't mind having a good time with friends but will either of us feel pressured to do so? I love my wife and not really interested in that lifestyle but understand some people may be. How are the guests? Are the single guys just gawkers? Is it young annoying drunk college people? I read somewhere the beach-beds are for VIPs only? that an upgraded room or what? Thanks for any help guys! Hope to book it tonight or tomorrow...
Well we're booked... was hoping to get some insights from the people here but didn't want to lose out on the price we found from Ottawa, Canada. So January 15th-21st it is!
Also from Ottawa booked our first trip Dec 27 -> Jan 3 From what I can tell you will have no issues, sounds like a fun place, too bad we will miss you~
lol I'm starting to think people only comment on topic of people who have profile pictures there is a flight out of Ottawa on jan 15th that has people from 2-3 hotels in the area I think. hopefully we meet some decent folk on the way. Be sure to let me know how your trip went after you get back? Going as a couple?
hi there i am just heading to temptations for my 9th visit this weekend !!(i think lost count) all I have ever seen there is people of all ages relaxing and having fun, I have made some great friends over the years, it is not really a resort that attracts college kids , because of the 21 plus policy.. i would say mainly couples and groups of friends 30s/40s age group is the most common.. you will love it,
Ottawa here as well...confirmed repeaters...4 trips so far and more to come. You will have an absolute blast Not a swingers resort at all, so have no fears there. Yes a few swingers are usually there but you probably won't notice them and if you do run across them they are polite if they "inquire" about your status. We have met many wonderful people at TTR and they are now life long friends. We now plan our vacas as a group the best we can and have gone to other palces together as well. To make the most of your trip, participate participate participate. Just about everyone you will meet at TTR is friendly and wants to have the best vaca ever. You are in good company and will have an awesome time. See if you can get on one of Steve's booze cruises if you can...not to be missed! Any questions, feel free to ask Scott
Oh yes...avoid the breakfast tour! Time share sales pitch (ie membership)...not a good deal these days.
yeah I'm "educated" on their breakfast thing thanks though. We're excited to go and anxious to see who else is there.
Dont forget to check out the Jan roll call at the top of the board. That's where we co-ordinate who's going to be there when.
