there is tons of places you can stay there. the Be Live Cancun hotel is supposed to be the biggest party during the day but its pretty shitty ive heard. The ME is supposed to be nice. I personaly really like the all inclusives so thats all I looked at. I am going to the Barcelo Tucancun. There are tons of options out there. I just kept checking orbitz and similar websites until i found a good deal at a good AI hotel.
Hotetur is pretty far south on the Hotel Zone and not near Punta Cancun/party central. It's only a bus ride away but will take twenty minutes one way. Just FYI

Of the six you mentioned the one closest to the "party zone" is the Krystal. You could walk many places/bars from that location in Punta Cancun. The Presidente and the FA Villas are on the bahia de mujeres or North side with a calmer surf. Neither are a walk to the party zone and the presidente is closer. Gran Melia and the Omni are close to each other and in the middle part of the caribbean facing side of the hotel zone with full wave action. Both are very nice properties that don't cater to the Spring break crowd and are more family. I know little of the Avalon Grand except it is closer to the party zone on the caribbean side. I would suggest you look at a map and guide for Cancun done by mapchick which should help significantly. Just search mapchick and you will find her. We have stayed at the Omni six times and have many friends there. We are NOT Spring break types and are OLD!!!!!!! :musik026:
