    At least Portland won't have to worry about medical expenses. Medicare should cover it.

    fletch, bad news huh?? REALLY bad news for the NBA, Portland, and all the fans out there. This is a VERY bad surgery, microfracture surgery is in many ways FAR worse than ACL or any other type of knee surgery. No one this young has had it thats been in the NBA, nor has anyone come back and been productive after this type of surgery. Hope he comes back healthy, especially since he is an Indiana boy!!!!
