We have got all of our tickets booked and even added a few more people to our group. We are now at...12 (I believe) coming from the frigid North Dakota. My sincere question is regards to taking pictures... This will be our first visit to a resort of this nature, and although we have a pact amongst us friends about 'exposed' pictures, I want to know what the consensus is about cameras.... I have seen a few pictures from some of the nightly events, and some poolside, but not a lot of pictures, hence me asking... Using common sense, how are cameras viewed?
Stick to taking picyures of your group n if you wanna take pics of other people politely ask first. If you're not creeping arounf d trying to take pictures of half naked women you'll be fine
well I think by you just asking that on here means your a polite and respectful person, so you probably will not have a problem at Temptations, You will have no problems taking pictures of you and your friends, then as you meet people and make friends, your photography classes will expand a lil bit and by the end of the vacation, you will have pictures you dont even remember... The key is just getting to know everyone, from all the debates we've had on here , the biggest issues isnt the cameras , its the guys/gals that take unwanted pictures or sneaky pictures of other peoples wives or husband..... I dont think you would have posted this question if you were a sneaky picture taker, so you should be fine, in my humble opinion
Easiest way to put it would be to only take pictures of others that you would want taken of you. Pictures with your group are great, pictures during some of the adult games at the sexy pool are a definite "no-no" and I am sure if someone got out their camera there would be someone there just as quickly "politely" asking you to put it away. Like Dan said unless you ask first, probably not a great idea.
Is this a camera debate thread? I've been drinking the last few hours!!! Be polite, if in doubt ask and all should be fine!
Last time I went I was too drunk to use a camera, for like 5 straight days... In all seriousness, I have never observed someone taking pics of other people without permission. It just isn't an issue from what I could see.
I appreciate the responses, and I think it goes without saying to respect those around you... I just didn't want to pull out a camera for a candid shot of my wife or friends, and have someone get angry because "camera's are not allowed"....To be honest, I don't think I would have the balls to take a picture, unless it is on the beach or in the room...just to eliminate any 'gray' area. Appreciate the help guys and gals!
Make sure it's waterproof though...I am getting a new camera for our trip in a month..actually..I think everyone on here that responded to this thread is gonna be there in a month..Dan. Jim. Canadian and snowguy. Sweet!!! U guys just be polite and ask first and u will be perfectly fine
Although we get a lot of Winnipeg'ers, we are straight American...I can't hit a hockey puck well enough to claim to be a Canuck
