Holy crap that doesn't sound fun at all, but I sure they pay you pretty good. I know my buddy made quite a bit doing mining.

We have 3 kids 3, 6, and 11.

I had a buddy that mined for gold in Alaska his shifts were 28 days, so I guess 9 days isn't too bad. Personally a 12 hour shift is too long for me lol.
