I know there is now a forum designated to GOV but since there are alot of people from TTR curious I'm posting this here too. WE went down for a tour last week while on out trip to TTR. It took an hour and it was a GORGEOUS spot! Took the time to explain different aspects of the resort and asked if we were on CCC and acknowledged Steve. She also invited anyone from TTR to stop by for a tour. So I suggest you do it! We are glad we did and are thinking about giving it a try next November.

Hi...we were able to make it down there the day before we left. 4 of us went and checked out this GORGEOUS resort. Let me just say this....if their prices are comparable to TTR...they better watch out! I took quite a few pics while we were there and will post later. I do hope they succeed in getting this off the ground. It's a great hotel and the location makes it even better. Walk out the front door and you are close to many shops and markets (really helps when / if you get a rainy day. Only problem I do see is the Coyote Ugly (their night club) is too small but I envision them quickly changing over the patio area just outside to make it part of the club. This will also allow the "smokers" to enjoy also. Bear in mind if you do take a tour between now and their conversion date (December) it's a very quiet place! Hopefully it won't be for long.

Thanks for the report back. Glad they remembered cancuncare! If you get the opportunity please mention cancuncare or me - if we can convince them our group has a ton of interested people then I'll be seeing if we can get some kind of perks for us all.
