I was present at the same time, and dosed with antibodies and steroids... had ZERO issues; however, tended to several guest that fell prey. Hum, also rebooked with new UK friends for next June... most of them were ill for a few days, yet onward and good times. Plan ahead .. Best, Cle'
Hum, just over two years ago I was in the Netherlands and Germany when the "illness" broke. Also, I had to face a CDC questionnaire/ inquiry as I became very ill once Stateside... protocol the Primary Care Physician stated.... YEP,,, got sick over the lettuce. Go figure and happens anywhere.
Just returned from the 22-30th and no sickness for me. Some people did have some sinus and throat issues, but that's not the stomach bug people have been getting. Seems its passed. ~Shawna
Man, I feel for you. That's rough. I had thought I was going to have to start a new thread with a scary title, something like "is the Dreaded Butt-Bandit Bug Gone yet?" or some such.
