Sorry to hear of the health problems Steve. Most important to focus on yourself and family first. We wish you a speedy recovery and hope you can be back in Mexico soon. (If things get really boring in the UK you can always hijack one of the Nottingham river cruises boats and do a Boobs Cruise UK along the river Trent).
I know you thought about this and I am very hopeful that the UK docs can find a way to help. The key is to do what you can to stay around for as long as possible so Janet and the kids will have you! Now I need to go get my coumadin prescription re-filled!! Damn PT-INR shit...
