    Alpharooms has two room types:
    Double / twin deluxe
    Twin/double room - de luxe

Anyone know the difference? The prices I am looking at right now for January are CRAZY cheap for 2 people so I am curious which room to pick. This past January we were in the 5000 block with a king bed and 2 person shower. I want that again!

Can't wait to hear responses for this. I am still trying to figure out the difference between sea view and ocean view rooms from Alpharooms. Rest assure that I will report when we get back - May 4th.
(That actually hurt too write...."when we get back." Ouch)

We chose the less expensive option, the twin beds because we were told that it doesnt really matter because the rooms don't have twin beds and you can ask for the room type when you get there and they do their best to find one for you. We will know in 30 days!!! Michelle

Yup I always book the cheapest, and get a king bed. As I always ask for a room with a king bed. They don't have twin beds. They do have rooms with two double beds, which some people like.
    Wet and dry bed. Lol
    Anywho..
    Just book the cheapest.

I wish they had a lot of cushions in the room so you could make a fort on the extra bed lol

What kind of pricing are you getting from alpha rooms? The last quote I got from them seemed too cheap to be true.

I booked last night for 7 nights in January (resort only-no air) for two people for $1250 total. Crazy cheap compared to anyone else but I haven't seen where people have gotten screwed - at least not from Alpharooms or the resort. :)

When we booked our 5 nights for May we only paid $132 a night total, so the 5 night stay is costing us $660. But we did book back in September.

I'm curious about the room types too. Any repeaters more input? We have never used them before but know many do with no prob. I just don't want 2 twin or double beds either.

General rule of thumb is to buy the cheapest room then ask to move if you don't like the room. I've never heard of anyone being denied a room change. Unless you really want a jacuzzi suite or drops of love then it probably wont matter.

Only the ground floor rooms have two double beds (unless it's changed) and these are usually given to same sex friends traveling together, rather than couples.

Means exactly the same to me, so I'd go for the cheapest.
