Rooms: Oceanview, Sexy Pool, or Quiet Pool view?

Which do you prefer, and why?

All I know is that I don't want to be in the back of the resort (or front, however you're looking at it) facing the street again. :-/

 

As newbies, we would also appreciate some input. We've reserved an ocean view room, but as has been stated, that could mean many things. We're thinking a request for a room near the quiet pool would be the way to go, but the resort map makes it appear many of the ocean view rooms there would require some serious neck straining. If anyone can offer some advice on the best spots to get at least a little quiet at night and still be able to enjoy a decent view from the balcony, we would really appreciate it. Please note, our expectations are in check, and we will certainly make the most of things regardless.

 

Unless you paid for Ocean view or Jacuzzi and if the resort is running at near capacity there pretty much going to put you where they can.
Sometimes they can move you in a day or two, they do try and accommodate you.
Or you can become a premier member and always get a nice room.

Timeshare

 

Our first time we got stuck directly outside patio/club for five nights. To be honest, we didn't mind that much. I usually went to bed at 430/5am anyways and it was the literally three steps home from the bar to my room. Will def ask for a room a little father from there next time but no big deal either way

 

Didn't mind the music, it was at 5 am when they DRAGGED all the chairs to one corner to clean the floor,

 

Just got back from our second visit. Paid for an Oceanview and completed the express check in on the TTR website. When we arrived they told us they were giving us an upgrade to a suite. We ended up at the far side of the resort which because of the intimate size of the resort really did not bother us at all. It was as far away from Paty'Os as you could get which is good cause we like to sleep although we did close the bar down a couple times. The room had a whirlpool tub which filled through a shower head in the ceiling. There was no balcony but the bed faced the windows which opened completely up to basically turn your room into one big open air room and the room faced right onto the beach and ocean. We absolutely loved it.

It was room 1367.

 

We were on the second floor facing the quiet pool in January and LOVED it!! Close enough that you could run back and change into more appropriate footwear but far enough away from the music going all night. It was also a pretty good view of the ocean with no extra $$$$
At this point I would take any room in the resort to get away from all of this winter crap!!!

 

We stayed in room 1205 quiet side 2nd floor and loved it. It was great balcony was nice and sued it for a few shows which onky added to things
