I was so nervous before our first trip, like you a little self-concious about my body, and I wore tankini's the entire week, and I never took the top off accept for one afternoon that is a complete blur in the quiet pool ;-) Nobody notices and nobody cares! That being said, we have trip #2 booked for Dec 8-14 and I have already bought 3 bikini's for the occassion! My advice would be just go have a great time and try something new, I regret being so timid our first trip, but am looking forward to making up for it on trip #2!!
My wife was very timid and conservative about her body on our first trip. 20 minutes in the sexy pool and top was off. Let loose and enjoy the freedom!
I'm not skinny by ANY means... I tilt towards the bbw side. I just relax and enjoy myself. You'll see me in a one piece or a covers-the- tummy tankini....and also doing shots at the swim up bar!
Most women will wear bikinis and not too many of them are a size three. We have women bodies with cellulite, things sagging here and there and when we are there we can throw those worries aside and just have a blast. I was the size three on our first trip but 15 trips later I am a size 9 or 10. Yep the body is far from perfect. Our first trip I wasn't sure I would go topless, cause I am small. Now being small doesn't even bother me at all. I embrace it now and it is because I have gone topless there, received compliments, enjoyed the freedom, and decided that everybody is different and special because they are different. Temptations is our place, and it's the people that go that make it our place. We have absolutely made lifetime friends. Trust me you will have fun and be back for a second and third trip too.
Simply put...TTR gives everyone the option to step outside their comfort zone, but never requires it in exchange for a good time.

I mean, Stacia is always in a Wicked Weasel G-string thong or in something like it from skinbikini.com, like that, though. It's not a "uniform" or hatever, you can whatever you feel comfortable in -- NOBODY is going to question how you choose to dress, or UN-dress, for that matter. Go with what makes you feel sexy for your man, or what he would like to see you wear, if it is more daring than you are used to. That is precisely what TTR is all about. "2. We love to party, but not sure I want someone else (besides my husband) to do body shots on me. Will we be looked down upon?" John: Again, nobody does that, either. You may get intot he spirit of things and get bodyshotted, sure, or you might not. Stacia's only done it once, and not even at TTR, but at Senor Frog's. "3. As you can tell, I'm a bit shy about my body, but could care less what other people do." John: here's a bit of advice, I think originally said by Todd's Laura (Summerbum? That right?) You do what you feel just pushes your own boundaris just a little, to give it that edge of racy excitement, and then just enjoy the day, or evening, whatever. Tha's the best way to do it. "4. Dzess, you are never going to meet a less judgmental bunch of people than you will at TTR. No matter what your size or personal preferences, they will not look down on you for what you choose to wear or do (or not wear or not do!) at any time. All anyone wants is for our fellow travellers to do the same for us, and it sounds like you are just fine with that. My suggestion is to pack two suits you're comfortable in, but ask your husband to buy you one "surprise" one that he'd like to see you in (John's suggestions are great, and Victoria's Secret has some gorgeous things on sale right now.) If your hubby is hopeless at shopping, have him post a photo of you, and I'm sure CCC members would be happy to suggest and link things that would work for your body type. Promise to wear it down to the sexy pool once, with the caveat that if you don't feel comfortable after half an hour, you can go back to the room and change. I'll bet you wind up wearing that suit (or only part of it!) the rest of the week!
