I am wondering if they will keep some sort of jacuzzi party still in effect? I know letting in the locals will be a no no but that jacuzzi party was fun!!! I think they need to do something around that idea...I find that these places let the pools and jacuzzis go to waste and do not get people interacting too much....
As far as I know, there is going to be no "official" jacuzzi party but there is always an "unofficial" jacuzzi party going every evening, especially with the Desire format. :xyxthumbs:
t and i are seriously considering a fall trip but curious about dress code and nightly activities. the two times we have been it was Temptation and only a very limited number of people particpated in theme nights. is this the case with desire or do more people get involved in theme nights? thanks rob
With all the times we have been to Temptation, hardly anyone would dress for theme nights, other than lingerie night. With the Desire format, participation for the themes is much better. The best participation that I have seen has been Halloween. The Desire themes offer a good mix of easy to dress for and a little creativity. The overall dress is different too, in my opinion. Temptation tended to be very casual for the evenings, where Desire tends to be more upscale/sexier.
YOU SHOULD TOTALLY BOOK A TRIP FOR HALLOWEEN! As CLG says below,there is a drastic difference between Temptation & Desire when it comes to participation in theme nights. We have been to both locations and the difference is crazy! I think it's also because people tend to let their hair down more @ Desire than Temptations. Also, I love that more people get dressed up for dinners too! The trend I saw were sexy dresses at dinner and then dressing for theme nights to party at the Melange Bar and/or Disco then up to the Hot tub to continue the party! Or if you aren't into the Sexy party @ the Hot tub, you'll always find people munching pizza & laughing/talking by the Melange Bar to finish the night. With all that being said though, Halloween is a great week because it builds up to the Ultimate costume party where you will see the best of the best! By the way, Hey CLG! We still talk about your Jabba the Hut & Princess Leia costumes! Looking forward to seeing you this Halloween, assuming you are going that week?!?! All and all I have followed your posts for awhile, Diamondheaded cuz you guys seem to be a fun group, and have always said to Jeff that it would be great if our groups were at the Resort the same week! Thanks for the kind words, those costumes were fun to wear, although a little difficult to move in that Jabba. Overall, Halloween was such a great time, all the themes and participation was fantastic. We are going this year again, I'm sure that there will be a lot of familiar faces.
