Anyone else checking for trip updates or interesting threads only to be let down? How about we try to get this going again? What is the one thing you saw or did on a previous TTR trip that you never thought you would see or do while on vacation?
Our last trip (DRM, April '26, not TTR) the drunk wives were playing Twister at 2 a.m, at the bar, after the hot tub .... while the husbands were eating pizza and BLTs. Not the craziest, but memorable.
We probably forgot more than we remember but the overall evolution of both our swim suits and theme night outfits are right up there. We wear stuff that we never thought we would ever own let alone where (or not wear)!!
Just got back from a week. We booked thru Expedia and got a upgrade to the 19th building (rm 1922) by the sexy pool, and got free room service and allowed to visit the tower's bar free. Nice surprise upon check in. Our 1st full day was the Mexico vs S Africa World Cup soccer game and they went all out for it. Big screen at the pool. Extra food services featuring Mexican foods. They even had Michelob Ultra beers. Mexico won to a great home crowd at the sexy pool. On a side note they won against S Korea yesterday also , so will advance to next round. If your at TTR during one of their game, expect to have a great time. Not sure about the times but from what I could find out, the towels service starts at 7 am. The pools open at 9am and closes at 7 pm. Hot tub closes at 7 pm. Bars open at the sexy pool at 10 am and closes at 7 pm. If any one know for sure, please let us know. thx. The lobby bar had put in 6 TV's. Two on the bartender side of the bar and 4 on the lobby side of the bar. Mostly sports on the channels that I saw. We ate mostly at the buffet. they had them operational for breakfast, lunch and dinner times. The sexy pool had a grill operational from about 1 to 6 pm each day. The food was improved over years past at the buffet. . The service was good but it appeared that the number of people to provide assistance has been scaled back in all operations. Was not too impress with the Players, enough said on that. The internet was good and reliable. We had storms each day for the first few days. Seaweed was not cleaned up for most of our trip so ocean swimming and beach service was not something to count on. Sorry for misspells and sloppy gramma, but still hung over. If you go , have fun and stay safe.
M&H, you guys always go all out with your theme night outfits amd gave us the courage to come out of our shell and do the same on our 2nd trip with y'all!
I think our whole TTR experience last year (our only 2 trips TTR thus far) involved many things we would've never guessed we'd do or see on vacation lol... boobs out, pool fornication, balcony shows, naughty massages, etc
Not booked yet but for sure going for at least 5/6 nights in 2027... NYE would be earliest possible return, considering it for anniversary getaway since we got married on 12/28 ... or March (but could be tough with kids sports obligations that time of year... if not NYE or March, then May for sure... unless Kelly gets pregnant again lol
