The “question” asked (I think) was about the crappy sales tactic of not giving you your band when you checkin but giving it to the Premiere sales team and then they are the ones to put it on you. Assuming after you set your meeting or they try to get a shot at you?? Have seen similar tactics in other places but had not heard about it at TTR. Didn't happen to us last week (just read it above). Didn’t hear about it happening last week while we were there either.

Just got back from our trip. Felt like the number of creeper solo guys has substantially increased. Starting to wonder if we should try out Desire so it’s only couples, but worry since we’re in our 30’s we’ll be inserting ourselves into an older/more lifestyle focused crowd.

Our March trip was our 14 th. And they did pass out wristbands to a premiere rep. It was actually painless as I gave them the same spill as I always do when faced with them. Annoying tho. lol

@tw1mempho I was referring to @aggiemike 's post. I would prefer my wristbands when I check in, and not be passed off to a Premier rep.

Give it a try! You might be one of the younger guests, but there are guests of all ages there. We've met plenty of younger and older couples. It's a great atmosphere with zero creepy single guys. We are not in the lifestyle, per se, but we find that the environment is very comfortable, adaptable and welcoming. We were loyal Temptation fans, but once we tried Desire, that became our favorite place. (We still love Temptation, tho!)

What would you say the main differences between TTR and DRM are?

DRM is what TTR used to be.

TTR is still fun but the party at DRM goes later and there is more to do at night. TTR has BASH (can still be a blast) from 10-2, then the resort shuts down. DRM has the nightclub, the party jacuzzi, the lounge bar, and play room, all going late and all being used. If you are sleeping at DRM then you are missing something.

Not as many pool games at DRM and the games are shorter. Spa is way better at DRM and couples stay together, not separated like at TTR.

Alcohol/food is a bit better at DRM.

DRM is couples only and is chill. TTR has singles, "crews" and "Bach" groups.

DRM is more "erotic fun" while TTR is more "party fun" (a Vegas pool party atmosphere).

I agree with what @mexico24 said. In my experience, the guests at Desire are more welcoming, more engaging. Many are like that at Temptation as well, but not all guests. On our 2 most recent trips to Temptation, we came across a few guests who weren't interested in even returning "good morning" or similar greetings.

Also at Temptation, you might see several guests on their phones livestreaming, FaceTiming, and/or taking photos/videos of everyone (without consent) I was sitting at Bash one night waiting for the entertainment to start and a group of ladies next to me were holding up their phones using Facebook, Snapchat or similar and recording themselves and everyone around them. I ducked down to hide my face. I saw that kind of thing several times during my stays at Temptation.

Another big difference is you can be nude at Desire (pool and beach areas) but only topless at Temptation. Adult "play" is allowed, even encouraged at Desire, but not Temptation.

At Desire, the atmosphere is more high-end, luxurious. With that said, you can have a good time at either resort.

Happy to report Security was much more “on it” last week! They were actively checking any phone at the pool for the “sticker” and putting them on phones that didn’t have one. Also very vigilant at Bash as well but there is always someone who is “special”. Much improved enforcement versus last couple trips though.
