True. One of the staff told us it was just a seasonal thing. So we’ll have to see if that’s true.

it was getting pretty chilly by 6:00 over new years. That said we did close it down multiple nights. Security was fairly relaxed as we didn’t get out until well after 6:00 on those days.

Any news on the new Tower? They were pushing it hard to get people to upgrade contracts last September but kinda quiet on here??

 

Certainly lots of changes for Premier beneficiaries. Sounds very much like they are looking to reduce costs across the board. And the rates seem to be up about 15%. Member rates are up 16+% for 2026.

 

Thanks for the details @Steve. Was there in September and they were pushing the new Tower hard to get people to upgrade. Promising “all nude” and more of a Lifestyle pool/vibe. Also saying it would be completed this year! I think we all remember how they promised similar for Punta Cana. We all know how that turned (Hurricane or not)! The Sunset to Sunrise party was really getting traction. Probably 30-40 people made it to sunrise last time we went to one. Pretty boy ran out of TShirts, which they didn’t have the first two we went to! My prediction is some “new” things will get some traction but they have to realize what the have, what they are and what they never will be if they want to stay full.

 

Wow. Just read the recent reviews in TripAdvisor. Usually see a few bad ones where people booked and expected five stars and quiet or are just the type who are never happy. But these are real different, most are very believable and say it has all gone to shit??? We have two trips booked so far this year and will see if we make the second. If half of this is true, then I doubt it. But, we will see.
