some Desire RM newbie questions Will booking a Heavenly Garden view room give us full access to all activities on offer at Desire RM or are there exclusive activities that we would be excluded from because we are in a lower category room ? What is Eden ? We have been to Temptation resort a few times and the Temptation Cruise once. We are planning to stay at Desire RM from Dec 8 to Dec 12 after 6 days at Temptation. We booked the cheapest room available which was Heavenly Garden View Room. We understand Desire is a couples only property and has clothing optional areas in contrast with Temptation. We like a naughty vibe but are neither nudists nor are in the lifestyle. But my wife does flirt and dance naughty with other guys. We have interacted with other couples looking for a naughty vibe and ventured into clothing optional areas on Temptation cruise and been to Garden of Eden in Key West. So is there anything particular to be prepared for that may be a surprise to us ? Ron
- No, your room category does not restrict you from participating in any activities, restaurants, alcohol choices, etc at either Desire property - Eden is the new, recently opened, expansion section of Desire RM - Unlike Temptation or the Temptation cruises you will most likely see other couples participating in PDA and PDS around the Desire property
Here's a very informative video from recent visitors to Desire RM: https://youtu.be/ewraoyr9TkE?si=8oZzHV9MLmbtiBrf
Not familiar with the "heavenly" qualifier. Original group is pushing out a lot of special bookings. Normally, a person (not a member) who books a garden room gets most benefits and access to everywhere that all guests have. The exceptions are the Eros restaurant (members only breakfast/lunch/dinner) and upper shelf liquors (OK...medium shelf). Also, you may have to stand in line for reservations (if "heavenly" gets a butler, then the butler should be able to get reservations).
We were there in late July and booked the same room you're referring to. Everything is available. Eros is supposed to be for members only during breakfast and lunch, but we ate there one day for lunch. We didn't know and they sat us anyway. Eros was only seating outside since the a/c was broken. Might still be that way. The upgraded area is very nice. Yes. you have to get in line to make reservations. If you get in that line when it first forms, you won't have any issues with reservations. Same problem for chairs around the pool. Preference goes to the members.
