Hey amazing people! we are here now and really dying for good bourbon. Someone at the bar today had a bottle of woodford, which he was so amazing to share with us. How do we find this???
They more than likely brought it with them. You are allowed to bring a couple bottles into Mexico with you.
We haven't been in a 2 years, but we always brought our own bottle of good stuff and left it at the bar. The bartenders always make sure we are the only ones they pour it for. However, I heard Mex. was cracking down on that due to some kind of taxing issue. So please let us know if we can bring our own alcohol again? We are headed to DRM in late July, thanks!!!
We are here now too but prefer Tequila on this trip. There is an Oxxo across the street that sells decent liquor. They have bourbons from time to time and might have Woodford Reserve and that level. Don’t expect Eagle Rare or better though. It’s to the right from the crossing about 50M
The grocery store down by the Market, has most of the third floor of all sorts of liquor, and very cheap prices. So the bar is letting us bring our own?
