Hi guys!!! I know I have been asking lots of questions but I want to make sure I am aware as much as possible. I hear alot of different reviews regarding this and Im confused. Are you allowed to take pictures and videos at the resort?
As another newby, our experience was: it is ok to take pictures of yourself and if you ask permission, people you hang out with, but not of the general public. It's about privacy and respect.
There are a lot of great places for photos at the resort…just be sure there isn’t anyone in the background of the photo. Before dinner we always get photos on the ramp with the beach and docks in the background, on the beach, the Sky Bar and other great spots. Just always be mindful of posing the pic only when no other guests are in the background. Don’t take pics of the Sexy Pool or you’re going to be either confronted by other guests or security. That’s the worst thing about big groups and takeovers. They think it’s cool to film their group of 20 with videos constantly catching everyone else in the pool they’re sharing and posting who knows where…and they won’t listen to anyone who asks them not to.
Thank you.. Ok cool, this is a rule that I usually follow anyways anywhere I go so I wont have a problem with that at all. Thank you for the info..
This is one of two reasons we won’t return. Too many damn phones out. Security does their best but there’s just too many. The other reason is all the damn upselling they do. The vibe just keeps changing and now our resort choice has changed too. Hope this helps.
When we first went to TTR (back in 2013, I think) they were very adamant about "no photos" They even had a sticker they made us put on our phones to cover up the camera lens. On more recent trips, I noticed many more guests taking photos, selfies, videos, and lots of facebook streaming. I wish they were back to being strict about the photos/videos. I don't want to find myself topless on someone else's instagram reel!
I have a tiny perv camera I take pictures with. People love it and love do things to, and with, this said "Steve's perv cam". It is only used by friends, and the pictures are only of friends, and they never hit the internet.
