Not knowing anything about you it’s hard to say but we are early 50’s and been to TTR several times. Once we found Desire there was no reason to go back to TTR. Haven’t been to Desire RM since the addition opened but the old dance floor was smaller (still plenty big to handle crowd) and the DJ played much better music than TTR. However that’s just our opinion.
At TTR, the music/BASH stops at 2 am. for those that make it that far, 2 am to 3 am is pretty chill. hanging out at BASH without the music cranking, but normally only about 10% to 20% make it till the music stops. The day time party at the sexy pool may have something to do with it. At DRM, the Disco starts up, after the evening show and live band, somewhere around 10:30-11:00 PM. The disco then is the focus for a couple hours, after that the migration is to the outdoor bar and/or the roof top jacuzzi until ..whenever.... There is always a bar open at DRM. Normally we go to sleep at DRM a bit later than TTR. The days are more relaxing/recovery at DRM.
Temptations is a younger crowd and as a whole probably less lifestyle in the crowd. Temptations is closer to a night club. There are no singles at Desire.
We are curious about this as well. Let me describe us a bit. We have been twice to Temptations and had a great time. Jen didn’t get topless but she was very comfortable and guys (and some girls) were flirting heavily and dancing naughtily with her both at the pool and at bash. We didn’t go to the Boobs Cruise as Jen was not prepared to go topless. We then went to the Temptations Cruise last month and Jen still kept her top on there. But she was comfortable being at the clothing optional pool where about 30% of the men and a handful of women were completely naked. She even flirted with a couple of completely naked men - including making out with a fairly lecherous old naked guy. But even in the clothing optional pool she kept her top on. There were from time to time ppl indulging in sexual activity such as BJs and fingering in the clothing optional pool; Jen was fine with that. We also visited the playroom aboard the cruise where there were mattresses spread all over and couples (and combinations of couples were going at it); at one visit about 50 of them. We did not participate; we watched (politely, without gawking or being creepy). Jen never got topless in the entire cruise; she did wear very sexy thong bikinis that shows most of her ass off. She also wore twice, for brief times, after fair amount of cajoling and begging from me a super skimpy top from wicked Temptations that ties at the front and in the event of a breeze would fly up and expose her boobs. On both occasions she was mildly annoyed at me while walking around especially when there were occasional mild gusts, but on the second occasion stopped and chatted at length with a guy she had danced with pretty naughtily a cpl of days before (no gusts appeared at the time, sadly). She now brings up the experience fondly in our pillow talk. Basically our thing is a party vibe (can be a flirty mellow party vibe too) with Jen flirting with other guys and some girls. She does not get topless. She is comfortable with lots or most women bring topless around her. And she is comfortable with many guys being fully naked around her (but maybe a bit weird if almost everyone is naked around us). She is also comfortable with some sexual activity happening around us; full blown orgy around the pool maybe a bit weird, at least at first. But we did visit the playroom and were ok with it. So is Desire for us ? what % of people are completely naked at the pool (would there be a reasonable number of ppl keeping at least their bottoms on). Is there at least a mellow party environment with mingling of guests.
Most people will be completely nude. Desire is a smaller resort, quieter and less party. With that said there is much more PDA. The people at Desire are more vets in the lifestyle and if they know you aren't interested they probably won't pressure you much more because they are looking for couples that are down. There is less flirting and more straight up sexual acts at Desire. If you like the single guys hitting on your wife from time to time and some light activities like making out Temptations is probably better. If you want to full swap and also want some better restaurants and relaxation Desire Pearl is great. I haven't been to Desire RM but it is my understanding it lies somewhere in between Pearl and Temptations as far as quality of resort and party atmosphere. I think the public sex will be similar at both Desires.
