Hi All, I am a newbie here. I see lots of Desires and Temptations people stating the Breathless Soul is boring, but I am just curious about HOW boring? We have toned down our need for the old Temptations/Blue Bay Getaway kind of fun somewhat, but figured we could still find that fun on the Boobs Cruise. But we also don't want retirement home kind of boring that we just has on our recent cruise. haha Looking forward to your responses.
We haven't been to Soul, but Riviera Cancun in 2019 seemed to largely be the "having a drink before noon is wild" crowd. Far from retirement home, but much slower pace than Temptation
Hi, We went to Breathless Soul in March 2022. Here is our review: Breathless Soul Review - March 2022 It was a nice resort, but it was only mildly entertaining. There were dancers by the pool in the daytime and events at night, but they weren't spectacular and we got bored quickly.
At Breathless ,ask for a upper floor room in the farthest north building , I think #7 , from there you can see the real pool party at Desire next door
We did breathless soul for a couple nights before our last TTR trip. It was great, and we'll do it again. Food and drinks were of a much higher level, and overall the hotel felt much more modern and upscale, with the exception of the gym which is small and a bit limited equipment wise. Lots of friendly people, including some fellow TTR goers, and the Vibe around the upper pool was great, with MUCH better music. They had DJs that seemed to read the crowd and played some variety. Evenings were tame, but still nice and a great way to connect before moving on to TTR.
