We arrive Dec 28th and leave on Jan 4th. This is our first time to Miches. We have been to TTR in Cancun 3x and loved every trip. Who else is coming for NYE? I hope there will be a nice size crowd. For those that have been to Miches do most women go topless at the pool? I love setting the girls free. I just dont want to be the only one haha
Awesome love the follow-up. Just heard the resort was sold kind of freaked us out. The website says permanently closed. But I spoke with reservations and they said they are rebranding starting on January sixteenth, have you noticed anything like really bad service or lack of restaurants open? We will be there the day after tomorrow. Just didn't know if the staff is giving that vibe of they don't give a crap since it's being sold et cetera
It's not as good as Cancun, but that was the case when we were here in May. But everyone is still working and I'm enjoying my time. Haven't noticed anything closed, Romanza was open for dinner yesterday, so was Sutra.
Your trip will still be fine, it's still normal operations. Live it up cause it's literally yolo - the only time you'll be at Temptation miches!
Someone on a FB page said they are there now and no beach towels staff walking out and waited for food for 1.5 hours? Have you seen any of that?
The towel situation is weird, the towel hut seems to have run out of towels. It's not due to closing imo it's more likely due to they never bought enough towels for if the resort is at full occupancy and the laundry can't keep up with demand. Have not personally seen or heard of any staff walking out but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened. Most staff we've been interacting with are still as hardworking as ever, because they can get tips now but they won't in 3 weeks. Make as much as you can, while you can, mentality. Have not waited for food for 1.5 hours but it has been taking the kitchen a little longer to fire orders at the sit down restaurants. Again, I think it's due to not being prepared for guest volume and staffing.
