I'm a big woman. Trying to do something about it, but struggling this year. Lost 60lbs last year, gained 30 this year. It's a disease and glorifying it feels weird. You'll see all sorts of shapes and sizes at TTR, but having a takeover group dedicated to 'thick' feels wrong. Also is it actually thick people or just overweight people? There's a difference.
I looked at the link and I don't really get the whole concept of these take overs. You pay $300 to be part of the group. Then they are trying to upsell seating and bottle service. $500 gets you one bottle and two lounge chairs. Yep, that's right lounge chairs! $1500 gets you 2 bottles and a day bed. $2500 gets you 5 bottles and a food platter! YES, THATS RIGHT A FOOD PLATTER! You are literally 200ft from a buffet and a bar with free booze. What am I missing?
Arguably same principle applies to folks who without a takeover spend money to rent a cabana and buy bottles, but plenty do it still
