I’ve always thought the same thing… deciding between RM or Pearl and the lack of activity makes me fear a less involved crowd.
Well, we thought that for a bit....but this is a smaller resort, and it's booked pretty solid through the whole year. We know friends who have come here and say it offers everything....down time, fun time, party time, great beach, huge pool, fun hot tub. They go nowhere else and have visited most places. We’re not concerned about the crowd....perhaps because there are only 88 rooms?
Not the size of the crowd.. more the excitement level. I read a lot of reports that the crowd can be a bit older and less wild. I’m guessing there is some luck at any resort regarding what guests happen to be there at the same time. of course I say this and never make it past 1 am… lol maybe I’m the boring one!
We vary! Sometimes we’re home by 12 but mostly it’s well after. We love Fantasy Fest and Sturgis, we go to both…..but we’re long past Spring Break Atmosphere 24/7 and drunk single dudes hanging around…. We find fun people and a great time wherever we travel!

Well, we’ve had fun with folks from 20-60+! There are fun people at every age range…in fact, more often-the most fun ones are 40+!
Average age group is 40-60 with some younger and some older. We have been to Pearl 20+ times and RM 7-8. The crowd is the same, we see the same people back and forth. The "wildness" is what YOU make it. Bar shots, etc don't happen unless someone starts it....
