Thank you for asking if it’s ok to smoke around others but that was absolutely not our experience the end of October this last year. More than a couple time we had someone get within 10 feet of where were already sitting/laying out and light up and exhale directly towards us. It’s rude! I don’t want to ban smoking either. Some of you smoker folk are some of the funnest tohang out with. It’s ok if you choose to smoke. It becomes not ok when what you want directly and negativity effects me. It gives my wife a headache and that’s not cool!
Why don’t they just have smoking areas and allow e- cigs everywhere else? Anyone know what the reason for banning e-cigs? Seems like the perfect meet in the middle???!
Yeah the stuff in the hookahs stinks and lingers (and not talking about Mary Jane). I smoke, but I always walk away at bash and go in the corner by the service area past the cabanas.
I am personally not disturbed by the cigarette odor but my wife is and one of the reasons why we don’t attend to certain clubs or bars is that odor she can’t stand it, as much as we like some places it’s unbearable for her, I image she couldn’t be the only one that feels this way, so I guess this could benefit the guests and the property for good, I also think should be a designated area for smokers, imagine those who are very attached to nicotine and trying to spend a weekend or more without one cigarette “ohh gosh”
We just got back on Wednesday. Smoking was allowed outside (pool included). We rented the hookah one night. Nothing seemed to be enforced. Still had the vape vending machine ($35 with little selection though)
The only way Temptation would go along with this in the current TTR fashion would be to make a "Pay for Smoking" section. "For an extra $40 a day you can enjoy Temptation's sexy smoking section"
Although… they have been backwards on a lot since Reno so maybe it will be “pay $40 to enjoy our sexy smoke free area” ?
I totally agree. I might smoke two cigars in a 7-day stay. Most of the time if I smoke one it's at Bash and I step away from all the tables and do it closer to the Temptations sign. My wife has asthma so I'm mindful to others. To be clear, I'd also be bothered if someone was blowing smoke directly at me as well.
