One of the things that we look for when we go is adults only. I've read on TripAdvisor reviews that some adults only hotels still allow kids or they have a separate tower just for adults, but there are families at the public spaces. Also, some hotels policy in regards to what an adult are can be confusing. I've seen some that state 16 and older, but as a dad with a teenager, I don't consider that as adult. We definitely don't want to get sexy with children (even teenagers) present. When we stayed at GP the first time, it was primarily an older crowd which was acceptable. But it seems like the atmosphere has changed to a more conservative place.
It’s technically 18+, but it definitely is a more mature crowd… I’d say 35-55 most of my trips. It’s only topless optional on the beach now. (Or if you miss your serve in tequila volleyball!). It had gotten really tame/conservative just before covid, but my last trip (July 2021), it seems to be easing up. Now there’s the foam party & mooning/flashing during volleyball. Body shots were a thing again. I’ll be back in April & looking forward to some fun!
Haven’t been there… but my buddy is there right now. Says it’s ok. Only topless while on the sun chairs, not in the pool (which really pissed off his wife. ) lol Have a fun trip wherever you decide to go!
At Breathless, yes. Topless in chairs. At Golden Parnassus, no… only place topless is allowed is on the beach.
Just came back from Breathless RM . Didn't see any topless anywhere . Well other than our balcony that overlooked the Desire pool next door
