We are leaving Thursday. What is needed these days for paperwork, and does anyone have a link for the forms? Thanks.
The immigration forms are no longer needed to enter Cancun. We were there Labor Day and they had done away with them just before. Immigration was quick and easy! Also, you do need a mask when leaving the Cancun airport or they’ll send you back downstairs to buy one and won’t let you through security
Passed through Cancun a week ago, UK visitors still required to complete immigration and customs forms. Green/Red light still there, all luggage (inc hand) scanned. Your supposed to wear a mask whilst in the airport but didn't seem to be enforced.
We use this Mexican immigration website to pre-fill out the forms and bring them with us. It speeds up the immigration process. They will compare the document (which they have on file waiting ) with your passport. Tear it in half and give you back the part you will need to present when you depart (make sure you have it. ) You will still have to fill out the customs form that should be given to you on the plane. Bring a pen. stay safe and have fun Mexico Tourist Card
If you are from the US you no longer have to do this arriving into Cancun as of end of Aug. I was there Sep 2 just after they stopped requiring this, fast and efficient getting through immigrations.
We're here now, (flew in from the US on 9/24) and no forms were needed or required when landing in cancun and processing thru immigration....only passport was needed. Easy and quick. We were a little confused at first as there are signs throughout the immigration area saying to scan a QR code and fill something out online. We tried doing this at first, but internet connection was spotty, and we never ended up doing that.
I'm one of those spazzes that needs to research and find it out for myself to feel totally comfortable! LOL! Cancun Scraps Mandatory Arrival Form And Grants Americans Fast Track Entry - Cancun Sun (thecancunsun.com)
