    Hi guys,
We are going as first timers June 11th to 15th.
I was just wondering how is the weather. I know it's supposed to be rainy but is it like small showers here and there or is a complete rain out? :(

Really hoping we don't get rained out. This us our first trip where we plan to go all out.

last year in June when I was away for 10 days. Was there high sun every day. gave some water at night, but it does not matter, for there were enough things happened in the hotel room.

Could have no rain, brief showers, or multi-day soakers. We've been there the last ten years around mid-June. Some trips have not had a drop, but that is unusual. Normally there will be a rain storm or two that roll through fairly quick. We've also had a few rainstorms that set in for a few days (last year had a couple of heavy rain days, all day). Pick your days and roll the dice. Many of the days will forecast rain (say 30% chance), but that only means that somewhere around Cancun a rain shower will roll through. If you see a forecast that has 100% rain for a few days, then that is probably accurate.

We live on the Caribbean (not in Mexico, but close) and the showers just come and go quickly, for the most part. Generally we don't get multi-day rain events and I don't recall every getting anything more than the occasional squall that blows out within 15 to 30 minutes in June.

It's going to be hot, so be prepared. Hydrate and bring your sunscreen.

Last year it rained all day one day, so they had activities inside…what I remember most is wishing I had jeans or something long sleeve to wear since the A/C was cranking indoors (I’m always cold if not in the sun). I don’t think goosebumps are all that sexy, so I’m bringing a warmer rainy day outfit this time, just in case.
