Now that the mask mandate is gone from our Houston airport & United airlines, However, United's site says: "Masks are no longer required for United customers or employees on domestic flights, select international flights (dependent upon the arrival country's requirements) or at U.S. airports. More comfortable keeping yours on? Go right ahead… the choice is yours!" Wondering if our flight to Cancun this weekend will be mask optional also...?
Just hoping we can get out on time on Sunday, with all the current Sunwing nonsense on the go!!! I'll gladly wear a mask, as long as the flight leaves on time!
Cancun has, the mask policy has barely changed since first required, 2 years ago. Masks are still required inside the airport and also in shops, transport etc. They are no longer required in the open air as of about a month ago. Inside the airport people will come and ask you to put one on, and shops won't allow entry without one. They've never been required at Temptation
The question was if masks were required on the flight in based on country requirements. Good to know we will need them in the airport, but the way there is what I was making a comment about.
I'm sure changes will be coming soon, Jamaica just lifted its restrictions as of April 15 no mask no test no quarantine. I'm very happy to see this stuff coming to a end. Steve as you hear updates please keep us informed.
On the way there is nothing to do with the policies of the country of arrival. I was referring to the comment which is incorrect.
I looked it up and just as I was saying, masks are not required on flights into Mexico. Only on flights where the country requires it, like Canada. Masks are only required inside the airport in Mexico. Which Airlines—and Other Transit Services—Are Still Requiring Masks
