I basically just got us black clothing for this night (hubby has a sheer black shirt and square cute underwear. I got a black corset & short black skirt)
We found Burning Land to be the best night, been there for a couple now. A mix between fantasy/apocalyptic/ steampunk/and BDSM. Search Burning Man costumes or steam punk and that will give you a good start. Get somethin spikey, boots, and a funky hat/head piece and you're there. As always, with theme costumes...less is more. Did I mention BDSM?
My issue is that I get the whole headgear, knee high boots. But that literally would require another check in bag ha. My wife and I fit a weeks worth of TTR into one small roller carry on. Unsure still if that's worth it.
My upcoming trip is the first in 10 trips I've had to check in a 3rd case, and it's mostly Burning Land theme's fault!
In a Carry on?!!! For a Week.?!!.. Last trip we checked three 50 - lb suitcases and the wife still brings a wheeled carry-on. (It was for 13 nights though). And All of her swimsuits would fit in one sandwich bag. One suitcase is usually just theme costumes/shoes/boots/hats. And no...we definitely don't use everything. In '22 we will make due with one checked bag each (plus a carry-on I am sure). She can wear her knee high platform boots on the plane.
Yep. In a single roller carryon that can fit in the overhead bin. Plus 2 backpacks for smaller things. I mean.. my wife's swim stuff/panties can fit into a freezer ziploc. I bring 5 trunks. That's what we wear 80% of the time. Some sandals, one pair of sexy heels and my dress shoes for dinner/nighttime takes up the most space. But 3 50lb suitcases is just silly cmon!! We packed like that for 3 wk Europe trips where heavy jackets were used. Can't believe y'all hahah
Every day five changes .... 1. Workout gear 2. Swimsuits/coverups/lunch casual 3. Dinner 4. Bash 5. lingerie/night time 10 nights (usual trip)x5 = 50 changes. OK.....There are a few repeats... Plus shoes, some dive gear, hats, a book or two, rain jackets, bubba mugs, toiletries, toys, couple bottles of spirits, extra hangers, 15’ HDMI cord, etc...etc... It adds up. We don’t mind.
Quick question: I remember back in the old days there were two different themes in the same night. The one that TTR suggested and the other one from this forum. How is it nowdays?
It's mostly everyone just doing the resort themes always now. Except if you are going during a time when it's a big CancunCare repeater group, then there would be talk on the forum during your date roll call of people making slight variations.
