My Wife and I are planning our first trip in June. When we first started to read reviews 2 years ago, this place seemed awesome. Exactly what we were looking for. Recent reviews however seem to get us a little discouraged. Specifically the Kardashian cabana selfie crowd and the Bluetooth boom box party boys. The reviews on the low rate of participation during theme nights is a little sad too. My wife was excited to dress up, but a 30% participation rate has cooled her off to it. My question is, during June is there a week where perhaps a good group is there that maybe consists of the old crowd of TTR patrons? Ones that can show my wife and I the party we hoped to have? And maybe has less of the social media crowd?? My wife will not feel comfortable going topless around Paris Hilton and lil wayne snapping photos in the background. We are planning on doing boob cruise at the start of the trip where we can meet people and couples that want to have fun, but if there is a week in June that maybe is more filled with the old TTR crowd, we would love to know! Sorry for the long winded question, just eager to get the most out of this trip and to meet the expectations we read about!
We have been to TTR 4 times in the last 18 months. We dress up for theme nights we dont care if anyone else does." Nobody knows me and nobody gives a fuck" if only 30 % dress up that 30% will become your lifetime friends.
Honestly...we dressed many of the nights and that actually makes you cooler and more popular if that makes any sense. Topic of convo more than a few times for the shy folks who seemed a little let down that they didn't go for it. You can NEVER go wrong going in theme
If we end up going in June again, we would be shooting for that June 16-26th time frame (Basically right after school is out, which last year our trip started the 18th)
