Monday 9th will also be a 1pm meet up time. I've already emailed those who have booked for the 9th. Probably Friday 13th too. But taking it one at a time at the moment.
Seeing no further posts at this time I assume the cruise was able to set sail today. So happy for Steve, crew, and guests to be back on the open waters!
Yes, the cruise went ahead yesterday at the later time of 1 pm to 7:30. We were told we could take 60 people (on Just Amazing - the smaller of the two boats we regularly use). I had 65 people booked before I closed sales a week or so ago. 60 was confirmed as being ok Friday morning,. 65 would usually be ok for 60 when no shows are factored in. We were almost finished with check in when we were told Albatros had just received a phone call from the Authorities, and we were now limited to 50 only. I had a dozen people left in the check in line, and had to refuse them I was able to swap some to Monday, but others were leaving before then, so refunded them. Really annoying, for both them and us. The numbers change every 5 minutes it seems, and considering many of those people booked two months ago it's just impossible to prepare for. The cruise itself started out a little slow, but once the alcohol kicked in it turned out pretty wild. The restaurant was almost empty (4:30-6pm) and the sunset was spectacular.
Boobs Cruise 9th August Most attendees should already know via email/message etc but in case anyone is still not sure. The cruise tomorrow is going ahead. It will be another afternoon/sunset party. So, check-in is at 1pm (instead of 10am) by the hammocks on the beach, and we will be returning about 7:30pm (instead of 4:30pm). Proof of vaccination/negative antigen test will not be required. Please bring a mask for use at Isla Mujeres. All other details remain the same.
Another sunset party today (13th August). Check in 1pm. I already emailed those that are booked a few days ago, but just keeping the forum up to date.
