Just wondering if you can get your own food at the buffet now, or if you still have to have a server plate it for you?
oh thank goodness that was so awkward .. hello hung over person you have to talk to me and be nice to me and think about what you want to eat instead of just grabbing things randomly I did it but it was way to early in the morning for all that work and we did tip cause they had to deal with my brain not working we did room service most days
Lol...I was so worried about this! I'm a grumpy morning person, and I'm like a picky toddler about my food touching! I'm so relieved!
I'm disappointed they moved Amore. That was the perfect place to grab lunch and have the option of menu or buffet.
that actually makes sorta sense they have the buffet right there .. so lunch or dinner they can have buffet on one side and a sit down food place on the other instead of closing half of buffet or having to reset from buffet to flame
The Amores side of the buffet is now a buffet with Mexican Food. The other side (called Rain) was closed at night (I am not sure if this is Covid related or is permanent). For what it's worth, I didn't think the food was particularly good - not even as good as the "old" Rain buffet which was not the greatest either. In my opinion, the food at all the restaurants seemed to have gone a bit downhill since my last visit in June of 2019 - not by a lot, but it just seemed off to me. Also, most of the menus have been revised and had fewer choices. My understanding is that the menu changes were Covid driven and hopefully will change back when Covid abates in Mexico.
in Sept the food was good the buffet was actually better than it had been they had a pasta station most nights one night we made a huge salad at rain ..then walked over to flame ..didn't get anything other than the main dish .. it was great . I love mexican food buffets .. If they have tamales I know what I am eating all the time lol sometimes they close places if they have an issue or for cleaning or if they are redoing something maybe that happened maybe all the kinks will be worked out by the time we get there labor day
