As we have a German accent, we don‘t mind In particular we learned Oxford English in school, so for us it sometimes harder to follow AE
Mine is cockney, Mrs WBA is Brummie.. so no chance at all.... but we all seem to get by, now even understood by our TTR Kentucky friends LOL, bottom line, just ensure the bar staff understand !!
I'm fine with WBA, I was based up in Essington for almost 4 years when I was working on the motorways. Our American friends usually ask Lynfa what I've said and it's been that way since 2010 lol
Any updates on people getting their flights and making TTR ???....... hearing some of the testing for returning passengers from Amber countries is ridiculously expensive
I arrived last night with no issues! Would rather have flown from Birmingham but we can’t have it all lol
Flights are only BA from Gatwick at the mo (well that’s the only one we could find for our trip in two weeks) and we paid about £500 for the tests for the 3 of us and that was with 2 day 5 early release ones as well I’m sure it will be worth the extra
It looks like BA are only flying Wednesday & Saturday from Gatwick up to July 19th, then they go to daily (current flight schedule on BA website) We are booked for Friday 23rd July out of Gatwick and it’s not been cancelled yet, keeping fingers crossed it stays that way
