We’re booked for august. Fingers crossed it’s the 5th time we have been booked. We have been once to the old resort. We booked again and hotel closed because of refurb. Booked in 2017 and I found out I was pregnant so had to cancle coz of Zia. Was booked 2019 for honeymoon and thomas cook went bump rebooked may 2020 and covid and was moved to may an travel ban. Fingers crossed we fineally make it back
Mexico is on the UK Amber list which means a 10 day quarantine at home on return or pay for a test on day 5. We're more than happy with that so as long as British Airways are flying then we'll be there June 12th
Starting to see UK bookings trickling in for June and July cruises. There was a couple from London on our cruise last Friday. They told the airport staff they were coming here to view some properties. They did have appointments set up that they later cancelled. Last month we had two couples from the UK who both said they were visiting elderly parents. None of them had to prove anything. Seems to me, the only change now from the UK is that travel for holidays is a legit reason. The tests and quarantining requirements are the same as they have been for a while.
Blimey.. that's the excuse we used for visiting Bournemouth !!!! bet they didn't isolate on their return...
We are booked for August, after having Gran Canaria trip cancelled last October. Feeling confident it will go ahead and can’t wait for 2 weeks of fun! Xx
