Topless At The Pool Still Allowed?

As the title implies is this resort topless friendly?

So I just called them, and the lady at the desk said that the pool wasn’t topless. This is a post for the golden parnassus, not TTR.

 

Golden Parnassus is no longer topless optional... you can take your top off at the beach, but not around or in the pool. We were told to put our tops back on.

 

Yes, you’re correct. I talked to the resort personally and it is NOT topless optional at the pool. I did however get an email back from the Catalonia Royal Tulum informing us that it IS topless optional at the pool! Most likely we will be booking there for 8/21-8/26.

 

Was thinking of booking a December trip here but no good if my good lady isn't allowed to go topless by the pool.

 

We have asked that question and got mixed responses. We are checking out GP for the first time in May after a couple of days at TTR. Everything you read about GP is very encouraging. As like many of us, there are so many things we still enjoy about the "new and improved" TTR, as well as some things we do not care for. One thing for sure we don't care for is the price point. For us, we don't feel $450/night is a value. We have been to TTR nearly 15 times, we have made life long friends from our visits. It may be time to discover other options, even if it means splitting up our trip.

We will be at TTR from 5/19-5/21, plan on getting to GP after dinner on Friday night. Staying at GP until Tuesday 5/25
