Halloween here too! Hoping restrictions have eased by that point. We'll both (hopefully) of had 2 vaccines by then too. I looked at the risk when booking last month, and unless there's a 4th lockdown in the autumn we should be ok. If the flights get cancelled then we get our money back (yet another voucher for that) and can reschedule hotel minus 1 day which is already paid as a deposit. It's worth the risk! Been almost 3 years since my last visit.

Hope so, but from what I've read Mexicos figures are being disputed and the case numbers are only low due to a lack of testing.. Fingers crossed anyway!
Maybe a year ago. Tests can be bought for $12 at any pharmacy. Plus 15,000 US tourists a day arrive to Cancun and require a test before they go home.
We would luv to join you , we'll have to see what Covid status Mexico is given by the authorities.... however, hardly enthused by Steve's observations in the Pre/post Reno thread 8th April. Hardly encourages "an oldy" to want to join a load of wannabees on spring break in their sparkly full swim suites, is this really risqué /cutting edge
Looking like Mexico will be on our orange list which means 10 days quarantine upon return or pay for an extra test on day 5 and return to normal if negative, still good news as far as I'm concerned! Roll on June!
