We are currently booked for Temptation in September, but are thinking of changing to Desire due to the more laid back during the day party at night that we have been reading about. What we are wanting is a sexy push the envelope type vacation, with some relaxation thrown in. We are not in the lifestyle, however are a very open minded couple. I am not sure if the party atmosphere is 24/7 non stop at Temptation and would offer no relaxation time. We just want a good mix of sexy, flirty, party, and relaxation. Any opinions would be welcomed.
If your trip is long enough you could split it and start at Temptation and finish at Desire. Temptation is big enough and also has a quiet pool area as well as nice restaurants to chill if you want time away from the Bash party that goes until 2-3 am. Desire is likely a great fit for you but give TTR a chance too.
Desire Pearl is relaxed all day and pretty tame as far as partying goes at night too. With that said there will be people having sex out by the hot tub at night. The sexual stuff is common and casual. There isn't as much loud DJ party type stuff going on.
We were thinking more RM. We do want some party atmosphere, and don't mind nudity, or sex. We are assuming we can go at our pace regardless what is going on around us.
No one was pressuring anyone at Desire Pearl. It is a bit of an older crowd and probably more experienced so people are pretty open with what they want and respectful. I would expect RM to be more of a party atmosphere similar to Temptations but also a lot more PDA and fully nude.
If your vacation is at least 8 days I'd split the trip 4 at TTR and 4 at Desire. Just so you can say you tried both. However, based on your comments and what you are looking for I think Desire would be a good mix for you if you want both party and relaxation. Day or night it can be either relaxing, pool party fun, or tub tub fun! whatever you want and whatever you make it. At Desire there is always somewhere to go depending on what you are in the mood for. Want to relax and have quiet time on the beach, no problem! Want to hang out in the pool, make new friends - with music that isn't so loud you have to scream to have a conversation, no problem! At night same thing, you can keep it as mild or wild as you like! The outside bar and entertainment area is quite popular until the disco opens up. But if you aren't up for loud music and dancing, there is always enough people around to have fun either at the bar or at the hot tub/bar.
