Does anyone have the information on reserving a daybed/cabana at the pool? I don't remember what they have available.
If you are a member it is free through your butler, otherwise you can buy a bottle through the TTR website in the “store” link. I want to say $300 or so.
I know I might be in the minority, but I loved it when Temptation was more budget-friendly. I mean, it still is with the low room-rates, but these luxury extras are a big change from where they used to be. The renovations weren't only structural.
(this is mostly experience from Desire, so ymmv) Never had a problem getting a cabana or day bed. While it's first-come, first-served for most it's usually just a tip to the cabana guy. Once at the beginning of the week usually works for the whole trip. The butlers help, but tips go a long way for good options I've noticed there's some cash "extras" showing-up, but nothing I'd consider part of our paid experience. That website, though... $$$. That has to be geared to non-members. Rule of thumb at any Mexico resort is friendliness and tips are king.
At least as of New Year trip, you had to see Edith in the Premier Office the day before. She would then assign one (there were 4 or 5 depending on day and crowd) based on requests. The day of you would see Daniel at the Towel Hut and ask. He would then take care of it. Hint: Tip him. You can also simply get chairs thru him each day. Again Hint: Tip Him He is a great guy.
Regarding non-Premier members renting beds, I have read some commentary suggesting the pricing is likely negotiable if the beds are empty.
