Saby...our Favorite Poolside Server

She was one of the best servers there. We always look forward to seeing her. This is a loss for TTR and for all of us who keep coming back to TTR.

 

Hey folks, don’t shoot the messenger.
I am only pointing out the obvious.
Began with renovation reopening and continues.
Times are a changing and the TTR we used to love is ever changing too.

 

Management may want the upper hand but if the paying customers aren't impressed then one outcome.... enough established guests already voting with their feet... so many friends now not going nor contributing here on CCC

 

what are the changes to the resort?

 

Yeah, but they also have plenty of young young newbies to replace us old fucks whom know better...unfortunately!
They grew up with Vegas style pay to play bottle service, etc.

 

Too long a list to write here.
Some is the sane but much has, is, and will be changing.
The brand is morphing a bit.
Good and ok to some, not so much for others whom really remember the old days long before the renovation.
Much has changed since for sure.
They are trying to hold on to the old ways but they just seem to be slipping away with the times.
It is their business and they are free to do what they want.
If folks don’t like it, they do not have to visit and can go somewhere else.

 

Curious because last time we went there was July 2019 and it was still a great time. We couldn't make it last year but already booked twice this year.

 

Much is attitude, catering to younger and younger crowds, many extra Vegas style pay to play costs such as bottle service to get pool lounge or table at Bash.
Stuff like this that has never been and smells of money grab in addition to all inclusive room cost and on top of membership costs.
Stuff like this rubs many the wrong way.

 

Completely understand. All Inclusive shouldn't come with extra cost to enjoy the resort. It didn't seem that bad in 2019. I did notice the Moet pods but there was still plenty of seating next to the pool; which is all we care about (We are all day Sexy Pool People!) I'm not paying extra for Vegas style (Never liked Vegas and not a destination for us) and if the fun is not worth the cost people will stop coming.

 

Saby was probably let go because she didn't want to upsell. She didn't upsell because everyone treated her right and she reciprocated with great service.
