I was too caviler with my initial response post and edited it.
I do agree their charter was to help out with communicable diseases, and I believe when Trump was in charge this was happening, but be now with change it is being used to control us as I stated.
I have nothing against the CDC in general.
But I have much issue with the politics and using it as a political weapon for control and compliance of citizens/citizenry.
A very slippery slope indeed.

Trump was trying to control spread but not at the expense of killing the economiies.

Yep! That’s what I read too. I asked if it could be a false positive but I was told since I was out over the 90 day point and with a family member with it that it probably was accurate. You probably remember the show Hee Haw, that song they would sing every week, “if it weren’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all” applies to me.

 

I think crazy Joe is a bit far. Joe is closer to a moderate than the previous president. I understand this ruling is unpopular, I dont like it but I think the purpose trying to save lives. Maybe not the traveler but the parent that watches the kid or the grandparent you see. If we can keep politics out of this that would be great. Thanks

 

It's ironic how the ones who complain about covid being politicized are the ones politicizing it.

 

It’s weird that one comment is about it being political and all these people come out of the woodwork to jump on the political comment to state their disagreement.

This thread is and should be about what’s going on at the resort with testing and how future guests may be impacted. All these comments just make this thread worthless to people actually seeking information that may help them make a decision about their upcoming trip.

 

My final post here is...we all just have to agree to disagree, about this topic and any others such as in religion and politics.

None of us will change the others opinions no matter how much we feel they are wrong or how much we disagree.

Makes no sense to keep the debate and arguments going.
I have, and hope everyone has realized it is a time and energy suck as well.
We all have to live in this World and there will always be others to agree and disagree.

Just like some like lemons and some like oranges, but may not like the other, for their own reasons.

There is and always will be at least two sides to every fence with many lined up on opposite sides.

I still love all of my TTR/Desire brethren no matter how much we disagree.
That doesn’t mean we have to hang out or become friends.
No one knows you and no one gives a shit!

This is in the spirit of TTR and Desire and I hope we all can agree on this statement.
