I personally think it’s safe to say, if you go to a resort in Cancun and don’t practice social distancing while there, you are going to get the Covid if you are susceptible to it. The evidence overwhelmingly points to Covid being at the resorts. That being said some aren’t as susceptible as others it seems. I for one, already had it, and the wife and I slept in the same bed, lived in the same house while I was quarantined. She never got. I know it isn’t 100% determined that we are immune now, but for us, given those circumstances, we are willing to take the chance. But I really think those people who are more at risk, should certainly consider what I said to very plausible.
Packed like sardines at Bash means a potential covid petri dish. No way around it other than not going.
The times we have visited Temptation we would ask people if they were on Cancuncare. I would say that maybe 30% had heard of it. The experiences we are hearing about on this forum is a small percentage of people that are actually at the resort. It’s hard to get a true number of cases on here. If you feel lucky, go for it. But there is no denying that Covid is at The resort.
I'm buying you a shot or 10 on the 29th when we arrive. Why does every damn thread turn into a frakking covid thread?!?! Jesus! I come here for titles and beer. Actually I come here to meet future friends and chat with current friends about upcoming trips! Covid is EVERYWHERE! I have been working in a open retail store since this shit started. I go to the grocery store. My wife is working. Our boys go to football practice everydamnday. We are going to live our lives. I would love to see ONE covid thread. This might be my autism speaking, the thread is about 30 percent occupancy rate as a result of covid. This is a covid thread.
Fact remains there are far more people coming back without it than with it. Since the reopening in June I've done 19 Boobs cruises and Jannet has done 16. We've been to the hotel 7 times for a total of about 14 days. No masks, no social distancing. Have not been through any airports. Neither Jannet nor I have caught it - yet.
