Uh...now ya all in my ball park... "escort" is just a fancy name for a prostitute. Just because a person can get a date (including sex acts) out of the fee instead of a 15 minute encounter doesn't diminish the criminal culpability. Most (all) escorts are also victims of human trafficking and the commercial sex trade. I am pretty sure that the resort has nothing to do with it, will not tolerate it, and would fire any employee that was helping with sex trafficking. That being said, i have no doubt that guests can find drugs and prostitutes for the right $$$ if they find the right (or wrong) employee. They might have to go off the resort to get "service", but I'm sure it's there. But this is not an isolated crime at Cancun resorts, it is wide spread, big business, and highly profitable. I also, like Steve, have never seen a prostitute at TTR. I have seen some sugar daddies with their current flavors for sure though.
Nope...have you ever heard of Sugar Daddy internet site service? No sex, just companionship. Many younger girls paying their way thru college with it. Some are quite proud of it. I suppose it might be considered better than stripping, at least by some. Do understand the sex trafficking comment though and is extremely sad state of affairs. Prostitution is the oldest profession and will always exist for good and bad. It has existed forever to serve the needs on both sides. Depression, recession, Covid cannot stop it. You are correct about the resort stance. But anything can be found from the “ right” people employee or not.
sorry, but got to disagree (strongly) here. Sugar Daddy is full of paying for sex. There might be a few exceptions for the naive, but generally (not 100% always) sex is expected at some point in the sugar daddy/sugar baby relationship. Another site is seekingarrangements.com. , there are lots of them. Many of the girls on these web sites have pimps who post them and take most of the money. One popular tactic is for a pimp to place one of his girls on the site so she can get breast implants paid for. The website owners then then have their influencers pick out some wholesome "college girl needs tuition"or "single mom wasn't making it" stories for publicity and "fake news". I have work with a Human Trafficking Task Force and with many of these women and have helped them get out of the "escort" lifestyle. Finding them resources, shelter, protection orders, etc. ... holding the traffickers accountable. Its not as simple as companionship for tuition money, even if it starts that way. Even if a woman has no intent on entering into a sexual relationship the Sugar Daddies are very good at grooming and then controlling. They begin the relationship and once a woman becomes dependent upon the finances and lifestyle the Sugar Daddy can control where it goes. Like a broken record just keeps repeating the cycle with the same woman or the next.
Hey, no problem to disagree here or anywhere. We are all entitled to our opinions and we all have our own experiences. And despite control all adults can and should make their own choices.
