Glad I was never normal to begin with. And that my Poppop (92) and Dad (58) had, and have, full heads of hair. Hahaha.

My husband and I were there from July 9th through the 14th. About 3 days after we returned, he started developing a slight cough and a fever. He was feeling tired but this lasted a couple days. He was not tested for Covid but it seems he may have had it. In addition a man we hung out with from California tested positive the next week. Hard to say if it was from the resort, airport, plane or home.

    Think of it this way...

The numbers are going to be extremely skewed. I've seen at least 20 people - but there's no empirical way to confirm it. But at least some did. I'm not a COVID fanatic by any means, and I'm still going in September unless things get worse.

Did they get COVID from a few hours in airports/planes or at the resort surrounded by people in a country getting its ass kicked by COVID, most from the US, which is also getting its ass kicked?

Personal choice is everything in this situation, but I see way too many people brushing it off like they're invincible. You're not. Get PROPER health insurance that covers pandemic. It'll be expensive, but it's almost mandatory if you're going to be coming here. Hospitals fees in Mexico are no joke, and expensive. If you're Canadian, some provinces are better than others for coverage. Alberta is by far the least helpful.

Just my opinion, but mostly just common sense.

Also, keep in mind that there is a travel advisory in effect for Canada to Mexico. This is important because it might screw you over for coverage because it's gov't

I was there last week 25-29th and started feeling poorly on Aug 2nd. Tested on Monday and was confirmed positive today. They are saying the average time is 5 days from exposure which puts me at TTR so everyone be careful down there.

It's feels most like a mild to medium cold. Had a small fever 99.5 and slept for shit but otherwise not too bad. Today I feel mostly normal!
