This is an important point. Make sure you triple check your health insurance, a lot don't cover pandemics. There have been several Americans that weren't allowed to leave a hospital until they paid - and it's priiiiicey if you need healthcare here without specific coverage for what you're doing. This has happened to three people I know, one of which needed to front 20k. People die outside of hospitals here with Covid going, just how it is. You can google any of this. I don't blame you for cancelling, it's a sticky situation. There are more recent examples, this is just the first one I grabbed. Sadly, we’re out. JetBlue cancelled our flights, after rescheduling them 3 times. Keep the party going for us! Looking forward to seeing you all in the future.
yeah we definitely did not want to cancel but TTR will be there next year and maybe some of this COVID craziness will be behind us. As far as the hospitals are concerned, it’s downright frightening to think of having to go to one again.
Unfortunately, we will have to reschedule our trip...again. Not sure when yet. All depends on this damn virus! We can’t get off work for our employer’s required quarantine period plus the trip.
