Everyone walks by an infra-red thermal imaging camera,. If you are showing a temperature you'll get pulled over, if not you'll think he is just sitting there.
Such a low percentage of people with covid actually have temperatures it really pointless taking peoples temps.
Who reported figures on that? It was my understanding that anyone who is asymptomatic or during incubation don’t show temps. It still seems like it would work to find someone who is actively sick.
I don't know the data at all, I've kind of got tired of researching these things for myself. Always thought a fever was a main symptom. Surely something is better than nothing?
Temps are absolutely being taken and not just in healthcare. Temps can show before any other symptoms. every positive case in my practice has had a temp over 102
My knowledge is admittedly second hand from a friend who works in a hospital here. We were discussing some volunteer work we do together, and I asked about possibly temperature screening for participants. He mentioned that they were no longer using it for screening for medical staff coming to work. Our schools will not be using it either this fall.
Question: Define "positive case" for me, please. If you are exposed, but asymptomatic after the incubation period (meaning the virus got in and got beaten down), and you'd show antibodies, is that a positive or a negative?
OK... if you were there only 3 days, and no symptoms when you showed up... wouldn't that mean you were exposed Before you left to go to Mexico? The shortes incubation period I've read about is 2-3 days, and the longest about 14. Am I missing something?
